Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Why did you chose this location?
Will you come to my house?
Is it better to drop my computer off?
- Yes, it is usually less expensive to drop your computer off. While there are some
problems that require us to come on site to your home, normal PC repairs and
upgrades can be done in our shop and save you money.
If you have a computer that is full of viruses and you want it restored to the
condition it was in when you bought it, you would cut your bill in half by bringing
it in to our shop. For example, we would have to format your hard drive. While typing
the commands to start the format only take a minute, the format itself can take up to an hour.
If we are doing the job in our shop, you are only charged 1 minute for the format. If we are
at your home, you get charged 1 hour. In the shop, we are free to work on other computers
until your format is complete. At your home, we can only twiddle our thumbs and wait the
hour until the format is complete. Unfortunately, this is wasted time and must be paid
for.
